Music is a very personal outlet that can unify lovers in a unique way and it’s very special to see Zambian Gospel female award winning artist Mutale Kapaso and Husband Bevis Kapaso do a very special collaboration and give couples a love gift this Valentines by releasing an 8 track Love Album titled “Chikondi Forever” on the 14th of February 2019. Having being together for over 9 years and married for almost 8 years, Bevis and Mutale have always nurtured a desire to collaborate musically and release a love album. Mutale is known for her music and profession as communications expert, Bevis who may not be so much in the limelight, has his share of talent and experience as a musician having been a recording artist and member of The Fragrance of Christ and is currently a worship leader at Mt Zion Worship center. Professionally, he is a Monitoring and Evaluation expert.
The two love birds use this album to share some valuable love lessons, not only taking from their own love experience but also learning from others.
“It’s such a rare thing to be able to do what we love and to do it together, really feels like all the moments are special,” Mutale said. Bevis added, “The first day I saw Mutale, she was on stage singing with Xploits, that day I knew she was my wife, and even though it took her 4 years to say yes, I am grateful to God that she did.”
The Chikondi Forever album is dynamic in its genres, like how love in itself is. It features RnB, Afro pop and Dancehall that appeals to both young couples and older couples with hits such as Only U in my Alphabet, Chikondi Revived, Ulubafu lwandi and A love piece based on the Songs of Solomon. This album is a definite must have for couples this love month.
