The Kopala design Indaba is an initiative aimed at showcasing emerging and established copperbelt home grown creative’s at one venue by providing a platform for all .
This initiative which is inconjuction with Abesu Media,Mayonie Productions and Mbanga Designs features “The All Africa Unite” who are on a mission to develop and promote collaborations within the Creative Industry on the continent .
The two day event kicks off with the Creative Biz Forum at the Kitwe Little Theater on Friday October the 30th for only k50 at 8am to 2pm where people will get to network and learn how to “Think like Artist and Act like an Entrepreneur” with speakers Head of Sony Music Africa and platinum award winning – Zakes Bantwini ,Babuyile Shabalala of Lady Smith Black Mambazo ,Rapper/Model/Radio Host Cleo Ice Queen ,Director of Zambian Fashion Week – Karen Nakawala and many more.
And on day 2, Kopala Designers such as Zanga Afrocentric, Ushi Fabrics and La Vida to mention a few will showcase their designs at the Fashion Show with Bellas Creativity on Saturday the 31st for only k100 at the Cosy Jos Pub and Grill that will have a night market and live perfomances with Zakes Bantwini ,Cleo Ice Queen ,Shadrock and the Groove effect and ofcourse Dj Kplus .
